Brief

Growing up in the 90s was all about bonding with your friends over arcade games. But times have changed. Fast lives and hectic schedules have separated us from our friends, literally. For Friendship Day, Logitech tasked us with reminding friends about the 90s and gaming together in a memorable way.

Solution

On Friendship Day, Logitech launched Buddy Board - a keyboard activation on a microsite, where up to five friends would play a game on the same keyboard simultaneously, just like the old times.

The microsite (www.logitechbuddyboard.com) allowed any keyboard to support up to 10 keypresses at the same time. Players had to catch falling coins while avoiding enemies. The more friends you played with, the higher you scored.
